Parents/Basketball Players:

On Monday, November 5th, the Klein Oak Boys Basketball Parent Booster Association will be hosting Meet the Panther.  This fun filled evening will begin at 6:00pm with a chili cook off, followed by the introduction of each team by Head Coach Joey Martin.  You will be able to sample chili from ten teams that are participating this year.  Teams include Administration, Coaches, Cosmetology, Student Council, Cheerleaders, and a team from each class.  You will have the opportunity to vote for the best chili, with winners announced and receiving a small token from the Booster Club.  We will need your help in making this a successful event.  The following assignments have been made and can be delivered the night of the event:

Junior Class                              2 bags of Frito style chips

Sophomore Class                     1 Bag of Shredded Cheese & 1 small diced onion (enclosed in Ziploc)

Freshman Class                       Desserts plus 1 Six Pack of Gatorade or Coke product

Tea, lemonade, water, and all paper products will be provided by the Booster Club.

In addition, we will be introducing each of the teams for this year.  WE WILL ALSO BE INTRODUCING THE PARENTS, who will escort their son to the stage and then be seated.  We will need to know the names of the escorts prior to the event.  Each player has the appropriate from to be returned to Coach Martin NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER 1, 2007.

The Booster Club will be selling spirit items to gear you up for an exciting season!  “Panther Pride” and “KO Basketball” spirit t-shirts, as well as hoodies and yard signs, will be available and ladies and men’s polos will be offered through special order only.  Memberships will also be available for $100, which include two tickets to the end of season banquet.  All proceeds from spirit item sales and memberships help offset operating expenses used to support your son’s basketball program.

Lastly, Chick-Fil-A will be on hand to market its game day food delivery and answer any questions you may have.
